First-time Buyers: Finding the Home That's Right For You

First-time Buyers can count themselves lucky in one important aspect: we are living in time that offers unequalled opportunities to realize the dream of home ownership.

Interest rates are among the lowest in decades and the availability of housing of all varieties is at the highest level in years.


There is an important benefit to home ownership that is often overlooked. Over the course of  a 25 or 30 year mortgage, the total amount of money paid by many renters can actually exceed the amount paid by a home owner. This is  because rents generally increase over the long term.
